Goris Campus

Faculty of Tourism's Goris Campus refers to a specific area within the university, primarily known for housing the Bali Cattle Research Center and the Student Center, located on Jalan Dr. Goris in Denpasar. While not one of the three main, larger campuses (Nias, Sudirman, and Bukit Jimbaran), this location plays a role in Faculty of Tourism's academic and student life. The street name, Dr. Goris, is significant as it likely honors Dr. R. Goris, one of the notable figures involved in the early establishment of Udayana University, underscoring a historical connection to the institution's roots.

This site contributes to the university's diverse facilities, supporting specialized research in areas like cattle unique to Bali and providing a central hub for student activities and services. Udayana University, established in 1962, has grown significantly, with its main and largest campus now situated in Bukit Jimbaran. The Goris location, though smaller in scope compared to the Jimbaran campus, remains an integral part of Udayana University's footprint in Denpasar.

Directions to Goris Campus from Airport:

To get from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to Goris Campus, you have several transportation options, each with varying travel times. If you choose to drive, the journey is approximately 13.6 kilometers and is estimated to take approximately 31 minutes. The most common route is via Jl. Raya Sesetan, which provides a direct route from the campus in Denpasar to the airport in Tuban. Alternatively, if you prefer public transportation, the journey will take longer, with an estimated duration of 56 minutes. This option usually involves a combination of public transportation services, and while specific details of bus routes or transfers are not provided here, it offers a more economical way to reach the airport. When planning your trip by public transportation, it's always wise to factor in longer travel times and necessary connections to ensure you arrive at the airport in time.

Directions to Goris Campus from Bukit Jimbaran Campus:

Travelling to Goris Campus from Bukit Jimbaran Campus, you have several transportation options, each with varying travel times and experiences. If you choose to drive, the journey is approximately 22.4 kilometers and is estimated to take approximately 42 minutes. This route primarily utilizes the Jl. Nusa Dua – Ngurah Rai Airport – Benoa Toll Road, also known as the Mandara Toll Road, which offers a relatively direct and efficient route between the two campuses. For those who prefer public transportation, the journey will take longer, with an estimated duration of 1 hour and 5 minutes. This option provides a more cost-effective alternative, but it is recommended to factor in the longer travel time and necessary connections when planning your trip.

Directions to Goris Campus from Sudirman Campus:

Goris Campus is situated directly behind the Sudirman Campus. Just to straight to the main road, then turn left. The Sudirman Campus is on your left.
