This activity was held at the Agrokomplek Joint Building, 4th Floor, Nusantara Room, Jl. PB Sudirman, Denpasar, at 15.00–17.00 WITA.

In order to strengthen the understanding of nationality among the younger generation — especially students — The People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI) initiated this socialization activity as part of an effort to internalize the nation's noble values, namely Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika — amidst the challenges of globalization and the dynamics of national development, including the tourism sector. The event was officially opened by Dr. I Nyoman Ariana, SST.Par., M.Par., as the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of the Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of integrating national values in the development of Balinese tourism so that it remains sustainable socially, culturally, and environmentally. This activity presented two main speakers, namely:

1. Ni Luh Putu Pertami Djelantik - Member of the DPD/MPR RI Representative of Bali Province;

2. Prof. Dr. Drs. I Nyoman Sunarta, M.Sc. - Professor of Environmental-Based Tourism Science, Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University.

Ni Luh Putu Pertami Djelantik highlighted the dynamics of Balinese tourism development since 1994 to the current digital era. She invited students, especially generation Z, to understand and practice the values of the Four Pillars of Nationality in everyday life, and to prepare themselves for Indonesia Emas 2045 (Golden Indonesia 2045). In her presentation, she introduced the concept of Regenerative Tourism, where tourism that is not only sustainable but also has a positive impact on the environment and society. Ni Luh Djelantik also raised social and environmental issues such as exploitation of natural resources, and criticized the welfare of tourism actors which is often not a priority.

Prof. Dr. Drs. I Nyoman Sunarta, M.Sc. emphasized that nature is the main stakeholder in the development of Balinese tourism. He also explained that the water crisis that has occurred since 1995 is a real threat, and ecological solutions must be implemented immediately. According to him, the preservation of Balinese culture is highly dependent on the sustainability of nature, and Tri Hita Karana - harmony between humans, nature, and spirits - must be the basis for every tourism development plan.

Through this activity, both the MPR RI and Udayana University hopes to foster a spirit of nationalism and environmental responsibility among students as the next generation. The Four Pillars of Nationality are not only the foundation of the state, but also a moral guide in building fair, ethical, and sustainable tourism for the future of Bali and Indonesia.
